Is ISO 9001 Finally Getting Engaged to Baldrige? With the revised 9001:2015 standard, ISO is incorporating several of the best practices already in the Baldrige Excellence Framework and Baldrige Excellence Builder. The new ISO 9001 standard promises to be a groundbreaking document. This new QMS standard requires; -each organization to define its “context” including issues relevant to its purpose and strategic direction; -organizations to understand and review the needs and expectations of “interested parties”; -executive management to take charge of the quality management system; and -organizations to establish actions to address “risks and opportunities”. Participants in this one-hour session will learn how to use the Baldrige Excellence Framework and Baldrige Excellence Builder to address these new requirements in ISO 9001:2015. E-versions of the sector specific (Education, Healthcare and Business/Nonprofit/Government) Baldrige Excellence Framework are available for .00 each on the Baldrige website, http://www.nist.gov/baldrige/publications/criteria.cfm. You can also download a free copy of the Baldrige Excellence Builder on the Baldrige website http://www.nist.gov/baldrige/publications/builder.cfm. AFTER DINNER PRESENTATION.
