Come to camp, support your community! Godman Guild welcomes you to Camp Day Columbus! This event will take place outdoors at Camp Mary Orton.  Memories are made at camp. Reconnect with nature, make new friends, and be active, all day long! There will be family-friendly activities for all ages, including the following: Zip Lining Swimming Field Games Rock Climbing Capture the Flag Arts & Crafts Beyfit Columbus Hip Hop Workout Corporate Kickball Tournament Animals from the Columbus Zoo Science Activities from COSI Live Music from Cousin Simple and Hello Luna Food Trucks and more! All proceeds from this event are reinvested in creating summer learning opportunities for Columbus youth through Godman Guild's Summer Youth Empowerment Program. This family friendly event allows adults to reconnect with their inner child, and help another child go to camp! Tickets start at just , but children get in free! Children (age 11 and under) – FREE! With purchase of 1 adult general admission ticket. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.  Teens (ages 12-16) – Must be supervised by an adult at all times.  General Admission (ages 17 & up) – Includes access to all activities, event t-shirt, commemorative drawstring backpack Couple's General Admission Ticket – Admits 2 General Admission guests VIP Ticket – 0 Includes 2 drink tickets, access to catered VIP tent, VIP bag, concierge service, private adventure experience tailored for our VIPs, Activity Fast Pass, access to all general admission activities, event t-shirt, commemorative cup, and drawstring backpack VIP Couple's Ticket – 5 Admits 2 VIP guests Team Ticket – 0 Includes 8 General Admission guests. All Team Ticket purchases are eligible for the corporate kickball tournament.  Support Godman Guild's Summer Youth Empowerment Program! Camp Day Columbus is a fundraising event to benefit Godman Guild’s Summer Youth Empowerment Program (SYEP). SYEP gives children the opportunity to experience the summer every child deserves. Your ticket purchase to Camp Day Columbus will help ensure 8 weeks of summer learning and personal growth for 150 Columbus youth by providing an academic bridge, healthy meals, and an active schedule for kids 5-13.  SYEP Facts Last year, SYEP employed 20 former campers as Junior Counselors or Counselors in Training. Academic engagement helps prevent summer learning loss. Children without summer engagement can lose up to 3 months of learning from the previous school year. SYEP provides STREAM based learning. Campers are engaged in science, technology, reading, engineering, the arts, and math.  Campers receive swim lessons daily. Last year, 51% of campers passed their deep-end swimming certification. 100% of campers showed improvements in swimming ability.  SYEP campers receive breakfast, lunch, and a snack, every day.  To learn more about Godman Guild Summer Youth Empowerment Program, please visit: http://godmanguild.org. All minors must be accompanied by an individual 18+. The VIP area is restricted to 21+. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Parking is available at no additional cost at Camp Mary Orton. What can I bring into the event? All bags are subject to search by event security. Absolutely no external alcohol is permitted on the camp grounds. Guests must bring their own bathing suit and towel to use the pool. Guests are encouraged to bring bottled water, insect repellant and sunscreen.  Food and drink will be available for purchase at the event. Alcohol will only be served after the adventure elements have ended at 3 PM. How can I contact the organizer with any questions? Camp Day Columbus is a rain or shine event. There are no refunds on purchases. All proceeds from the event will fund Godman Guild's Summer Youth Empowerment Program for inner-city youth in Columbus. Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? Tickets are transferrable. Ticket transfers must be made prior to the day of the event.
