Get ready for the first Glug NYC 2016  – when we aim to explore the art of branding via a multitude of human senses; sight, hearing, smell and touch! Join us, Wednesday, March 9th back at the amazing ALU space in Soho, where we bring you overwhelmingly talented creative industry speakers from Queen of the Night, Man Made Music, Austin Advisory Group and Huge, who are ready to share their insights with you. Talks will be followed by a Q&A panel and of course, there will be live art creations, tech demos, craft fair, and, needless to say, the Fith Sense will be satisfied at our open bar. Our Speakers…      Shoshana Fisher is the Director of External Affairs for Queen of the Night (Variety Worldwide) where she manages marketing, public relations and branding. Her work with Queen of the Night includes overseeing the successful 2015 Drama Desk nomination for Unique Theatrical Experience and New York City's Concierge Choice Award for Best Nightlife. Shoshana's role includes all areas of communication for the show, with a focus on overall creative brand strategy and translating the Variety Worldwide vision to an international audience.  Before she found her home with the Queen, she worked in the OR state legislature for the Speaker of the House, and has run several campaigns for public office. From the stump to the stage, she believes direct relationship management and grassroots campaign principles are the keys to success for any brand. She looks forward to opening immersive productions in Beijing, Tokyo, Las Vegas and New York City with Variety Worldwide in 2016.    Lauren McGuire is SVP, Managing Director at Man Made Music. Lauren helps marry the science of brand strategy with the art of culture and emotion while running the day-to-day business for Man Made. Lauren’s focus is on maintaining the strategic rigor of Man Made’s process while always valuing the power of sound and music and it’s value in doing good in our lives.  Dan Venne is SVP/Group Creative Director and Lead Producer at Man Made Music. After receiving his Master’s degree in music from NYU, touring stateside and abroad with his bands, performing in groups throughout NYC, and writing music, Dan joined the MMM team where he found a perfect fit to his passion for music. A perpetual student of all musical styles and all aspects of music creation, Dan is very much at home at MMM where his task is to oversee all creative and production including the creation of all radio designed assets created to enhance the experience in that unique medium. Paul Austin is a fragrance expert and film maker whose work focuses on the intersection of storytelling and the senses. After 18 years of working as a senior executive for the world's largest fragrance creation companies and having participated in the development of literally hundreds of new perfumes, Paul undertook a 6 month research project in India aimed at re-connecting to the origins of the perfume world.   HIs research in the Tuberose and Jasmine fields of Tamil Nadu compelled Paul to found his company Austin Advisory Group in 2010. Today, Paul’s creative agency focuses on “Source Stories©”, which aim to discover, distill and reveal the authentic story of some of the world’s most iconic brands. Clients and partners include Rolls Royce, Sotheby’s, The Gem Palace of Jaipur, ABC Carpet & Home, Campbell Gray Hotels, Donna Karan, P&G Prestige and Estee Lauder.  In 2015, Paul worked with the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute for the “China: Through the Looking Glass” exhibition” retracing and reissuing the first ever Oriental scent, Nuit de Chine dating 1913. The company has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal,  Departures Magazine, Elle Decor, Vogue and W Magazine. Paul is a weekly contributor to Women’s Wear Daily, and  sits on the advisory board to the New School,  Parsons School of Design in Paris.         Based out of Huge's flagship office in Brooklyn, Kyle Arango oversees creative for some of Huge's largest accounts. Recently, he has helped to produce multi-country, experiential launch events for one of the world's most prominent technology brands. With more than 15 years experience in the industry, Kyle has been part of some of the most progressive initiatives in 360° branding over the last two decades, from pioneering uses of variable data printing to one of the world’s first interactive billboard experiences in Times Square. Prior to Huge, Kyle was a Creative Director at 160over90, where he lead creative for clients like Nike, Mercedes Benz AMG, Ferrari, Audi, UCLA and Diageo, North America.
