Joint University Student Training in Entrepreneurship Program (JU-STEP 2016) – Summer Intake Break out of the classroom and step into the real world with CoCoon's Joint University Student Training in Entrepreneurship Program (JU-STEP 2016). Internship opportunities with actual startup companies, entrepreneurship workshops, and building your OWN company are just a few aspects of this training program. What's more, we'll be awarding cash prizes to the winners of a student pitch competition at the end of JU-STEP 2016 to show our genuine support for our students. Don't miss out.  Joint University Program Over 4 consecutive days in June, students will attend intensive entrepreneurship workshops, company visits, internship matching session, as well as talks with entrepreneurs and leaders from successful social enterprises and corporates. This will be a great chance for students to learn about entrepreneurship and explore different potential career paths. Students who complete at least 80% of the program will receive a certificate at the graduation ceremony on the 4th day.  Date: 14-17 June, 2016 Time: Whole day (around 10:00am – 6:30pm) Venue: CoCoon, 3/F Citicorp Centre, 18 Whitfield Road, Tin Hau  Dress code: smart casual Joint University 30-Day Challenge for CoCoon Gifted Young Entrepreneurs Award JU-STEP 2016 Participants will form teams to join a 30-day challenge for CoCoon Gifted Young Entrepreneurs Award. Each team must have students from at least 2 different educational institutions. Students will build their own start-up within 30 days and compete for three cash prizes.  Application Deadline: 23 July, 2016 Pitch Day  Finalists of 30-Day Challenge will pitch their ideas to the judging panel to compete for grand prizes of CoCoon Gifted Young Entrepreneurs Award! All participants of the Joint University Program will be invited to the Pitch Day. Chen Managing Partner, Arion Ventures Visiting Lecturer, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Andrew is Managing Partner of Arion Ventures. Arion Ventures is a strategic advisory firm that provides various management consulting services including private placements and strategy consulting. He also currently lectures a graduate course on emerging technology and entrepreneurship part-time at the Multimedia Innovation Centre in the School of Design at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.   Cora Chu Chief Executive Officer, DiD HK Limited Cora has extensive sales & marketing management experience in the telecommunication industry for local and global markets. She was inspired to pursue her second career in DiD HK Limited in 2013 with key focus on transforming team culture and crystalizing key learning impacts of experiential learning workshop and entertaining events. Cora holds a Master Degree of Family Education and Family Counselling from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.     Dominic Law Co-Founder, FeedMe Guru Dominic Law, the Co-Founder of FeedMe Guru, used to be the management consultant and private equity investment professional. He is so passionate about food that he has deferred from Harvard Business School half way through to work on FeedMe Guru. Dominic is fond of traveling and strongly believes that the best way to understand different cultures is via food.   Gabrielle Kirstein Executive Director, Feeding Hong Kong Gabrielle started her career at the international advertising agency Bates UK and their integrated communication consultancy 141 London.
